Mckenzie had just started working at W.A.Bess Elementary in August 2017. Jonathan brought his son Brantley to school on a Wednesday to take a placement test. Jonathan was at the school for longer than expected. During the time he was there, Mckenzie was talking to her coworkers and asking if anyone knew who the young man was sitting off to the right in black sweatpants. Come to find out, one of the assistants had Jonathan in kindergarten! Mckenzie wanted to be professional and wait until the end of the school day to message him and introduce herself, but if you ask Jonathan, he claims she messaged him as soon as he got back from taking his son to be tested. Long story short, according to Jonathan, Mckenzie Facebook stalked him and the rest is history. In full disclosure Mckenzie will admit she did Facebook stalk him, but to this day she will still say she waited until after school that day to message him. For a while, Mckenzie and Jonathan messaged back and forth before they officially met. They both cannot remember the first time they actually met or when they actually started dating, but they have been dating for close to eight years now.
